Artist's Description

On Sunday, my wife, Bridget and I headed up to RMNP for a sunrise hike to Dream Lake. It was pouring as we were coming back down Bear Lake Road, and I could see the sun trying to come out. Full of hope, I said, "maybe we'll see a rainbow." 10 seconds later, Bridget pointed in the distance and said, "isn't that one?" We pulled around a curve into Moraine Park and were greeted with this sight. I only had a couple seconds to fire off a shot before the sun was consumed by clouds. We continued on our way, and the sun made one last appearance for a double rainbow right before we headed home for the day. A perfect end to an amazing morning in the park!
