On Sunday night I headed up to Rocky Mountain NP with the intention of getting a milky way shot over Longs Peak. I hiked up to this viewpoint, set up my tripod, and started firing away. After testing several locations, I picked this spot to try to create a panorama. I started with 7 shots of 12 vertical panels for an almost 360 degree view (84 photos). I stacked the 7 photos for each panel to reduce noise, combined those outputs into the panorama, then cropped out 2-3 panels from the sides. This was my first attempt at stacking photos, as well as creating a panorama, and I'm happy with the results. Excited to further learn and use this technique!
